Our Vision
At Spring Rain International, we believe indigenous leaders are the best ambassadors to bring the gospel to their local community. We come alongside these leaders to equip and train them, and we provide resources to help them serve their own people.
We also reach out to impoverished children who will spend their lives in hopeless poverty unless someone intervenes.
Our current work takes place in north India, where less than 1% of the population is Christian.

Founders
Before coming to Christ in 1987, David was immersed in Hindu and Buddhist spirituality. As a new believer he enrolled in Bible school and began learning about God's global work
During Shari’s college years she sensed God’s call on her life, and began to pray for a husband with a similar calling to cross-cultural ministry.
After their marriage David & Shari served in a church in New York State which welcomed international students from the nearby university. They actively ministered among these students, developing cross-cultural friendships which remain to this day. Later they moved into a public housing complex and spent three years reaching out to the large immigrant and refugee population from Eastern Europe, Africa, and Asia. Their entire married life has been marked by a shared passion for cross-cultural ministry. Their ministry background includes church leadership, teaching, and equipping believers in evangelism, intercession, worship, spiritual gifts, and cross-cultural outreach.
David is a seminary graduate and Shari has a bachelor's degree from a Christian liberal arts college.
They are based in Oregon.
